I thought I was that kind of mom, and I had to work with all my daughters on self-esteem because their dad was heavy, and they were too. They still are. I did everything I could to build them up. I have always been thin and assumed any girls I had would be like me and I was not prepared for chubby little girls. I always told my girls to get a profession and make money so they didn't have to depend on a man. Only one listened, and the other two are stuck with lousy men because they can't support themselves. Some days I feel like I taught them nothing. A lot of it is the split between my ex last fall. That rocked their world because they thought we were all going to be together again. It messed up the grandkids, too. This is so nice to write about your mom 😇
