I tuned out several years ago too. I only watch TV once a week unless it's tennis. But, I have one of those newshound families that think I'm kind of dumb for not keeping up with "the latest". I don't care. I feel like you If news wants me it knows where to find me. The hell with my "smart" family. I have so much else to do besides read or listen to bad stuff I can't do a damn thing about.
