I uprooted my three girls when I got remarried—changed school districts. We did not move 13,000 miles away, but they got a new "stepdad," I know it was tough on them. I did all I could to help them, and they soon made friends with other neighborhood kids. Thank goodness. To this day, they never talk about the old friends they had before, and I must have dodged a bullet there! But they were not teens either. You had to follow your parents. Did they know how hard it was for you?

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
