I used to go to Al Anon because of my daughter and my husband was alcoholic. The ladies were self-centered and talked about their own issues the whole time. When my ex jumped from a ledge in his shop and broke a bunch of bones and had his spleen removed, etc. I came to my group for comfort. Didn't happen. And I decided I'm out of here!

We didn't have a lead like regular AA meetings but I've heard some Al Anon groups do.

Don't be concerned with criticism. I did start one article with a note to don't read if you're going to make my heart ace more than it already does, but usually I just handle rudeness with some cheery answer back as if I took it as helpful 😅

That works.

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
