I was never prepared in life for the demise of Alzheimer's, even though I saw those patients in my work environment. My mom was so funny about one thing..she always referred to the ladies at her dinner table or bingo table as "old ladies." As in, "I have to sit with those old ladies all the time." when she turned 90, she thought she had just turned 60! Forever young, I guess
