I was surprised to find out I was pregnant right after I graduated and was headed for college. I did not want to get married and I did not want to have a baby. My parents dictated everything I did and I went along as a good little girl was told. So, for me, I lost my future dreams. I knew it was not my child's fault but my parents made life so unpleasant for me. In retrospect, I wish I had just run away and raised my daughter the way I wanted.

We weren't in love and had a decent friendship but not a good marriage. That was not good or my little girl.
