I went through all the things you wrote about. I watched my marriage disintegrate while my husband drank, got many DUIs, caused accidents where others were injured, spent week in jail, and treated me like the most useless human being alive. My love ran out. My support ran out. I had to save myself. I still love him very much. I left 6 years ago and he has been sober for 2 years. He's moved on, but I am still stuck back where he left me off. He has very little recollection of the chaos he caused in his family lives because he was blacked out. It's kind of nice for him. I pray he stays sober but long for our marriage and good times . Addiction hurts many more than the addict and often in worse ways.
