I will never say I have any idea what your life, or anyone else's, is like. Walking in another's shoes is impossible. So, I will shut up on that topic!
I dated an OB/GYN for a few months. He was an uppity, overprivileged cad who pretended to be humble. Everyone seemed to fall for it including me. After a few months, and some hefty denial on my part, I saw his true colors. When I asked him if he had any black patients and he said no I knew it was over. You are right about medical racial bias. He is a perfect example but denied any wrongdoing when I busted him. He denied being racist as if I had stabbed him in his cold-ass heart. I am a nurse and worked 42 years in the medical field and you will find, especially in GYN, the most racist physicians alive. I dumped him and got asked constantly why I would pass on such a great guy. 🤮
