I wish I could, Pam, but I won't tell my doctor. I'll let you know what I told Lucy. I have enough problems without a diagnosis of early-onset dementia or something like that. No matter what, that stuff sits on your chart forever and stays a big fat negative. Even if it's ruled out. It's happened to me with other health issues, and I won't let it happen again. When I had pain from my gallbladder, and they thought it might be my heart, I had a heart cath. It was clear, negative, no problem. Suddenly I was listed as having heart disease because I had a heart cath. That was 20+ years ago when I was even healthier. That is on all my records, and I couldn even give blood without a letter from the cardiologist to prove my cath was negative. I was a nurse forever. I saw all these diagnoses on people's records and my own, and I just won't make that mistake again unless it can't be helped.
