I'm glad your story has a pretty happy ending. Don't stop those meds. I've seen that disaster happen too many times in ER. I worked as a nurse in psych in the 80s. You are correct. We were one big happy family. We ate family-style, played games, and talked. I even took the group on walks to the store.

Now the plan from the minute you walk in is how they are going to get you out!
