I'm sorry to hear about the lack of communication about your mother's condition. In my experience with my mother, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Not to use it in a bad way. But those places, as everywhere, are understaffed and staffed with help that has not been trained properly to understand the elderly. You will be told nothing unless you ask, iterrogate, and get involved in your mother's care. And thats not easy if you work, have a family, deal with covid, etc. I feel badly for you because you are in a tought spot.
