I'm sure Punkin had feral parents that affects her charming personality. I hear you about that tail swishing. What is up with that? Just laying there doing nothing and they get all agitated. She puts her teeth on me but has never bitten me or anyone else. She's scratched plenty though. She'll turn and hiss at me for no reason. But, I love her to pieces. She goes everywhere I go and stays all night in bed with me. (Guess I better not find a guy. He would have to sleep somewhere else 😂).

Had I known her personality I would have named her Cruella. I tried changing it but couldn't get it to catch on. I had to have her declawed a week ago. I put off the surgery 3x in the past 18 months. Guilt was eating me up. Then I talked to my vet. I've known him since he as a baby. He has 4 cats and 3 of them are declawed. He says they still go outside and do fine. Punkin likes to go out for an hour or so a day. I figured if he could do it to his cats, then I can let him do mine. She had trashed way too much of my home. And some friends won't even come over because she scares them. Wimps! She weighs 7.5 pounds. Not too intimidating! It killed me and I cried for the whole 5 days she was gone. Yeah, surgery on Thursday, broke her wounds open that evening, back to surgery Friday to close them up again. She seems to be getting back to her old self now but we are both still adjusting. And I'm looking at new furniture! She's ruined all I have but it was old anyway.
