I'm sure that's what she thought. One of my daughters tells me in front of her 8 year old how she is rude to her sometimes. My granddaughter loves me and respects me so my daughter thinks telling me that in front of her will stop her. I don't give my granddaughter any mean looks. I want my grandkid's memories of me to be good ones.
