I'm very sorry to hear that. I lost respect for my ex when he started to drink and abandon me. Then, I also lost trust. But during our 27 years of a good marriage, we treated each other with the utmost respect. Then, he turned around and dumped me in the most disrespectful way possible. Often I beat myself up because of how good we had it, and I forget the bad. We both lost a lot and it didn't have to happen. But there's a reason it did. I will find out, hopefully, before I die. You are married now, aren't you?
