Ironically, Lisa, I have been trying that. I hug him and love on him as soon as he gets here and talk about all the fun we'll have with the train and blocks I have here for him that he loves. I can bypass my daughter, who is so frazzled because she is too NICE!!! I live in a very peaceful, calm, and quiet community. I encourage her and my granddaughter to take a walk while I "play" with my grandson. I tell him I want him all to myself! He seems to love that. Once he knew she WAS coming back, he started to love it. BUT....my time conversing with my daughter is slim and that's something else we need to work out. I have always said the answer to a problem often creates another problem!
