It must be a terrible feeling to have your child in such danger. When my brother was in Viet Nam my mother was a different person. She was always on edge and if that phone dared to ring late at night....well, she could have had a heart attack.

I was in Junior High and some girls from school that didn't like me had slumber party. They started prank calling me in the early morning and my mom was furious. The phone was next to her side of my parents bed. I told her I knew who it was. The next day she called the mother of the girl that had the party and screamed at her for what her daughter and friends caused her. That girl got in some BIG trouble. And she deserved it. Do not mess with a mom of soldier. Ever.
