It sounds like an adventure, but As a Story Nerd, I would like to have seen you make as much a deal about your stolen clothes as you did about your curtains. I don't think I would have felt safe at all with those thieves looking for an opportunity to rip me off all the time. Especially when you were there all alone. The island sounds lovely though.
