It's great to hear this, Carole. You deserve applause. You are strong and maybe have a strong mate. I helped my ex stay sober for the last two years, then he left me for a girlfriend in October and promptly relapsed. I was strong for him and rewarded his sobriety. I wish I knew why he relapsed and left without warning. Anyway, I go to Al-Anon still, but sometimes it depresses me. Do you attend many AA meetings? Your mom paved the way for you, and she sounds like she was a strong lady, too.
