It's hard, but I wonder if I will either because my parents did not help us monetarily. I know it's hard buying a house these days. When my husband and I got our 2nd home, bigger because we had four children by then, I worked so many double shifts to increase the down payment, I can't count them. It's hard work getting through life sometimes. Are we really helping them when we "help"?
