I've been there too and I can't remember now what pushed me over the edge. I suffered, he suffered, then I suffered again after talk of getting back together. The kids were all happy. They considered us together again. But the spark wasn't there. That tiny flame that gets you through the hard times. I wouldn't settle for that. He found someone else he could feel better about himself with. Someone who didn't know him for 36 years warts and all. I believe he thinks he has a chance at happiness unlike the happiness he shared with me. Life is too short and dull if you're unhappy. You've taken everyone's feelings into consideration and that has to be exhausting after so long. I wish you the best in life and the choices you make.

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
