Many of these stories pertain to my move to a Life Plan Community. A Life Plan Community is a retirement community with the added benefit of lifetime care. They ensure that you can "age in place." You have multiple levels of care and the promise of lifetime housing. You maintain your residence throughout life, even if your financial resources are depleted through illness or longevity. This includes assisted living, memory care, rehab, and skilled nursing.
