Mine gave up on me, too. She said I wouldn't "get off the fencepost" and make a decision and she just couldn't help me. I guess she was right. I was frustrating her and not getting anywhere but what was the difference? Even if it took me 5 years to make my decision to leave my alcoholic husband, she was getting paid to help me. She basically said I was dumb because he was never going to stop and I was wasting my life. Giving up 30 years of what I considered a good marriage could not be decided in a few months. I quit going and 3 years later finally had enough and left him. She could have made a lot of money holding my hand those 3 years!!!
