My 2 other daughters, his papa, me, and his other grandmother wear him out anymore. He has to turn down our invitations to go places or come over. He has seen his mom now that she's in a nursing home a few times this past month. He's no fool. He tells her not to lie to him about getting better and doing stuff with him. He knows she has said she is giving up due to her health.

It's OK Allison. This whole family has been forced to adapt to her choices and it sucks. But we stick together. She has no idea. She thinks we all live such wonderful lives never thinking just maybe her actions have affected us in traumatic ways. Addiction causes super selfishness.
