My doctor is slow with getting lab tests, etc., because she is on her own, but she listens and comes up with solutions for all my issues. The ones in big practices with a bunch of partners seem less cordial and more about speeding you through the office and out the door. My mom had some doctors like that. It may take a few tries to find a good one.
