My ex got his 4th OVI in December and is facing a felony charge. He has rejected me and his children ( who were there for the first 3 OVIs and a suicide attempt that crippled him) in favor of a woman he says will not judge him. She got his car out of impound, is storing his stuff while he is in jail, and waiting for him to get out so they can get married. He gave her the wedding ring I put on his finger in 1987 as an engagement ring. He is broke with no job and nowhere to live. He is a great alcoholic master manipulator. That caused our divorce after 29 years of marriage. We have spent all holidays together as a family, even after our divorce, and we have always supported him. But now he decides we will judge him? Its more like he knows he cant manipulate us so he took the path of least resistance. Hopefully jail helps him dry up and think more clearly.
