My ex had an elaborate story to explain his fall 30 feet to a concrete floor. He claimed he fell from the back of his truck onto a machine. My son checked his shop out and said that was a total lie. He saw no machine behind his dad's truck. Even the surgeon who worked on him for 6 hours said there was no way he got those injuries the way he claimed. But I was clueless. I thought he was drunk and fell accidently, but years later, he told me the truth.
