My ex was so poor he gave his girlfriend his wedding ring that I put on his finger 35 years ago, as an engagement ring, all while he was still coming over and we were talking about reconciliation. He gave the ring back to me a few weeks before and I handed it back to him telling him it was his to dispose of. He made good use of it!
