My ex, who wanted to reconcile (he's an alcoholic, so I was not really keen), started seeing a girlfriend behind my back and then ghosted me. I had no idea why because the ball-less fool couldn't be honest with me. Then he came back for a few weeks wanting everything back with me and because I had no idea about her existence I let him back. Then, he ghosted me again! Then got DUI #4 and went to jail for four months. He just got out and went to live with her. He does not contact any friends or our children. It's sinister. I believe he picked up a lot of demons in jail. But, a person I trusted and talked to every day suddenly walked out one night, ghosted me, came back, and ghosted me again. His life fell apart once he left me, but it shows that even the best of friends and lovers can leave you behind in a heartbeat.
