My friend is definitely upsatnding in the community. None of us knew about her son's addiction until he died. She was ashamed and embarrassed that she couldn't "fix" him, just like all parents feel. I know my daughter did not do what yours did, and I am fortunate I have her children with me; she cut me out by her addiction. She is not my daughter when she behaves like an addict. What mother wants to say, "there's my girl...she prostitutes herself to supply her drug habit. Isn't that great? I am so proud."

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
