My heart aches for kids who go through what you did. My grandchildren had a hard time with their mom absent and dad an alcoholic. Then, their grandpa turns to alcohol. They are such great kids, too. 21 and 16. Hopefully, they stay that way. Jeez...I grew up in the Beaver Cleaver household!
