My husband managed to fool me until our honeymoon, so I guess I'm not too bright, or I trusted him so much. Not a good way to start a marriage, and even now we are divorced, he still smokes. He would never give it up for over 34 years. As many crappy experiences as I have, I wonder why I persist.
