My mother and grandmother prayed not to be alone when they died. I was with my mom holding her hand. My grandma died alone at the hospital but had been unconscious, so I hope she didn't know. I guess I don't care if I'm alone. Like you, I probably will be. Most of us want to fall sleep and not wake up—the best death at any age.
