My son in laws brother hung himself when his girlfriend broke up with him. My SIL found him hanging from a crane-type apparatus on the back of his pick-up. A young man in his 20's. In that instant life seemed worthless but in a week or so he probably would have been OK. And finding his brother was so traumatic, too. Trying to get him down, wondering if he could save him. It's a real heartache with no good answers.
