My son is now suddenly saying he has social anxiety and he never had that before. However, I can see why he would. Like you, he had a bad incident one summer that made him the laughingstock of his peers and he never got over it. My poor baby. I wish I could help him. I don't see him much and when I try to go visit he always has some excuse that he can't. I can understand social anxiety but does it include your mother?
