No kidding! But, I started a 16G on a patient a few times for rapid infusion. Those are hard to get into a compromised patient, too! I just never looked at the needle yesterday. Today I barely have a mark. I'm trying again tomorrow and hope I have hydrated well today. I have not reached a gallon yet, but almost.
