None of our four kids even speak to my ex. He blames me. I take no responsibility for these adult children's actions, and I never bad mouth him even though he was and is a total ass. He lost all of us when he betrayed me. Anyway, I realized I contributed to his desire to leave, so there we have it. I may never get the opportunity to apologize, forgive, and feel better about all of it, but I'm glad you were able to. My kids are so angry that I cannot placate them. And he does not see what he did affected them greatly. I can imagine how tough it was with your daughter, especially with her being so far away. You have the best of both worlds now, and what a blessing for all.
