OMG! That is one of my biggest fears about walking in the park by myself. I refuse to do it as wonderful and nature full it seems. 20 years ago a woman was followed in a park near me by some guy who shot her in the back for absolutely no reason. She was paralyzed and her life was terrible until she died. I know because I was the case manager for ICU every time she came into the hospital. She was a mess. No walk in the park is worth that. When my friend and I go walking I carry pepper spray. For what it’s worth.
