Once you live with an alcoholic and experience the death of your marriage, your family, and often your sanity..... the loneliness, listening to the blatant lies, and facing the stares of neighbors and friends, you gradually lose any compassion you may have had. You leave rather than sacrifice yourself to the demon as well. Yet it will take many years, therapy, and a lot of Al-Anon support to rise above what they have brought into your life and maybe find a new love, a new life, anything to feel whole again. Even though you still love that person very much. There are two sides to every story. Yet, judging someone else is never our place. It belongs to God.

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
