One Hour After It Was Put On The Market My Condo Sold For Top Dollar
Here’s why I feel so fortunate.
I recently wrote about putting my condo for sale.
It’s in a nice setting and it’s pretty quiet, except for the traffic and the trains.
It went on the market Friday morning at 8 AM. Between Friday and Saturday, there were 11 showings. By Saturday night there were 4 offers.
One couple was looking Friday morning promptly at 8 AM. They put in the highest offer, requested no inspections, and added a rider called an “appraisal gap” so if the bank doesn’t value the condo at the selling price, they will make up the difference in cash.
I never consider sales done until titles transfer, but there’s not much that can go wrong with this one.
