One of my friends from childhood to adulthood (she was maid of honor at my wedding) moved to Georgia years ago and we lost touch. However, when we do have a chance to talk it's as if we've been communicating all along. Really good friends are like that.

Unfortunately, we cant hang out and see each other often but we just KNOW each other. We can pick up right where we left off.

Right now I cant say I have a true best friend. Because I can't talk about my daughter to anyone. Even good friends are judgmental. It makes me sad but it is what it is.
