Owning your own home is a big deal but it was costing me so much with no "man around the house". I sold at a premium a few months ago and moved to this Life Plan Community. I got a beautiful ranch home and some security for my future. I feel bad for my son and daughter-in-law looking for their first home now. Suburbia is the only way I ever lived so I understand your happiness in having your home. It is a shame these McMansions go up nearby and block the sun.

Of course, I used to think I wanted a city place with no car and an apartment walk-up. I know I would have hated it after a while. You always want what you don't have. I grew up on a farm. I can't be a city slicker!
