But, unless there is an emergency, I do not think any surgeon would go against what he has told her. After her last surgeries, she went back on the streets and stopped taking her antibiotics. I knew a cardiac surgeon that would not do surgery on a patient that smoked until they quit for a year. It is done that way a lot in the medical field.
