Since it was my ex-husband who tried to win me back for six years after our divorce, then walked out one night and closed me off, then came back, then closed me off again, then got his 4th DUI (guess why we got divorced) since he was drinking when he left the first time...I was nice. I sent him a birthday postcard in jail last month since I told him Happy Birthday for the previous 37 years, BUT since then (a month), I have been radio silent. And I will stay this way. Do we have four kids he can get info from? Yes and no. They all think he's an asshole and he doesn't call them from jail. Do I want him back now? Probably not. But now I am curious what he will do without my professing my love and support to him. Is it too late since I already sent him a card? He's in jail another 4 months anyway. But, I regret being so nice to him after he walked away the first time. He found a girlfriend, sort of. She is who he is using and manipulating to get what he needs while he's in jail because no family or friends will speak to him....really he is just too ashamed and embarrassed to contact anyone. He should be. 4 DUIs in 6 years. Now he's a felon.
