Some they get rejected, made to feel broken, like they are unworthy and retreat, some to depression (like me) and others find unsavoury communities who teach them they aren't alone but also that they have no part to blame, it's all the fault of others (women, immigrants etc.).

Hi Gareth... this is a profound statement. I'm sorry you suffered, but I did my children no favors, and all, as adults over 30, still fight to fit in. I sheltered them too much. I'm not sure of the answer. Is there one?
