Sometimes, I will admit, I am glad my kids don't like their dad. They are all adults, and I never had to say a word about him. They formed their own opinions of him after he lied so much to all of us. I am unsure I could feel as kind as you to my ex. But you took the unselfish route and made your son happy, and that's a gold star!
