Sometimes it does start wonderful and then goes sour. I had my ex turn into a raging alcoholic after 27 years of being a great husband. Go figure. It took me 2 years, a bankruptcy and 2 DUIs to finally run. And, I still feel guilty. Divorced seven years, never remarried. But want to :-) He just got his 4th DUI.
