Sounds horrifying. Back then, I would not have reported it either. Girls were blamed for being at the party in the first place, dressing sexy. And drinking too much. So much is different now. It amazes me how important our vaginas seem to be. There's a lot of guarding of that thing we must do just because we were born with it!
