Stay that way, Lisa. It can work as a calming defense mechanism. When you are set on something it gives you a goal and goals make life a little more bearable. You have a purpose and once a goal is reached (or not, because that happens) you have relief and need to be stubborn about some other goal. I hope this makes sense. Say you have a goal of looking at shops and online for a picture of a cat that resembles Vinny. You obtain the picture and it gives you some joy. Or you take a picture of Vinny and make a booklet, like with Shutterstock, of his pictures, sayings that fit his personality, or things you recall about him. I've made several books like that. It's not expensive and makes a great memory.
