Ted, I am with you totally. I throw my privacy in my trash to go to the dump and never shred stuff. I figure if someone is going to take my identity, it will happen anyway. And as for medical records, I have known for so long the wrong people have access that it's useless. The article was spurred by another one I wrote last week concerning my memory. I told everyone I would not see a doctor and get a diagnosis of dementia. They could not understand why and I said it's not private info. They all seemed miffed, but I know better. Exactly as you say...Internet, computers, anything can be put on a thumb drive. No secrets, folks. None. Plus, relying on humans to keep secrets? When has that been very successful?
