Thank God your husband was able to unload that huge burden. How disgusting for him to have lived through that horror.
I attended Catholic school x 12 years. I was never mistreated by a nun unless you call telling me I was rude frequently abuse.
You guys were brave to tell this story and I hope it’s opened the eyes of a few parents to watch their babies closely around priests. Taking a vow of celibacy is abnormal in my opinion. I have not attended Catholic Church since I was 29. I joined A nondenominational Christian church and love it. No man made rules that are not in the Bible. Just teaching the love of the Lord straight from His word. I hope his experience did not turn your husband from God.
